Unique Website Service Anonymously Notifies Parents of Their Teens Behavior While in the Public
Hayward, CA March 29, 2004 — The solution to all of these questions is www.tellonteens.com, a unique service developed for the public to specifically report the inappropriate or complimentary behavior of our youth.
How does it work?
The subscriber (i.e. parent) to this service is given a bumper sticker to apply to any vehicle that their teens drive. The bumper sticker should be placed prominently on the vehicle and includes the TELLONTEENS logo and toll free number. Anyone in the public who sees the teen behaving inappropriately in public (i.e. drinking alcohol, doing drugs, smoking cigarettes, fighting, “making out”, speeding and reckless driving) should write down the license plate number and make of vehicle or bumper sticker number.
Next, the reporter has the option of logging on to www.tellonteens.com or calling the toll free number and anonymously report the conduct which they witnessed. When the license plate or bumper sticker number is entered it will cross-reference with the secure information pertaining to the owner of the vehicle and the reported information will be forwarded to the subscriber of this service within 48 hours of the report.
How much does the service cost?
The fee for the service is a mere $49.95/year for the first vehicle and a $10.00 discount for each additional vehicle registered.
Mission Statement:
TELLONTEENS.COM is a resource intended to help reduce the illegal, inappropriate and malicious conduct of teens. With the high rise of teen violence and escalating behaviors of our youth this web site and service is intended to provide a way that the public can report incidences of misconduct by our youth. It is our disire that with this reporting service and the idea that there is a tracking mechanism whereby conduct by the teen can be reported to their guardian that the incidences of misconduct are reduced.
