Parent Stress

“The central struggle of parenthood is to let our hopes for our children outweigh our fears.”

The power of virtual prayer circles

Arlington, VA April 8, 2004 -? More Frequently family and friends can be spread over the entire globe and it gets harder to spend time in person to devote to prayer. We are also getting more busy and sometimes a personal situation might prevent us from meeting in person.

Who knows that the power of prayer is real? No one better than Lindsey Yeskoo. She met with President Bush in 2001 in China and asked all to pray for his protection in a famous email that went around the world. That was the start of a global virtual prayer circle.

This year Lindsey and her family returned from China. One of her daughters, Emily, was diagnosed with a terminal disease. She is reminded every day that God is who you need to turn to first in times of crisis. If you would like to know more about Emily and her family please visit http://www.livingwiththetruth.com

Virtual prayer circles are powerful because:
?You can take part in them at any time.
?You can reach a global audience.
?You create inspiration and hope in other people?s lives.
?You assist others to maintain a relationship with God.
?You cultivate and nurture your spirit with God.
?You share a deep message.

Keep Emily and the Yeskoo family in your prayers.

We would like to invite you to join a virtual prayer circle.

The following prayer was written especially for Emily.

Dear Father in Heaven,
Thank you for faithfully providing the loving care and for meeting the needs of our precious Emily and her family. We also give you thanks for the multitudes of prayers going forth on her behalf by so many friends, loved ones and others who have never met her. We ask for continued strength, patience and wisdom for those in the family who care for her and the doctors who attend her. May Emily feel a special sense of your presence lifting her above the circumstances that are so difficult. Please fill her young life with your love and peace. Through all of this, may your name be glorified. Amen
