Write a (minimum)500 word essay about being a parent. In keeping with the theme of the contest, your essay must be a special memory, a lesson you learned as a parent, a well reasoned piece of advice for other parents, or a combination of the three.

The top 3 entries will be selected for possible inclusion in upcoming ParentingIssues publications. If your essay is selected in this category, you will receive a one time payment of $25 USD in addition to a signed copy of Memories, Lessons & Advice: a guide to parenting issues” by Ron Snyder.
