Parent Stress

“The central struggle of parenthood is to let our hopes for our children outweigh our fears.”

Nesting Solo Launches Newsletter, Website and Networking Group for Single Parents

Cary, NC July 14, 2004 — A newsletter, website and networking group, all under one name ?Nesting Solo? have been launched for single parents. Founded by Durdana Yousuf, a single parent herself, the newsletter attempts to provide support to single parents in Western Wake County of North Carolina.

“I started the newsletter as I myself, needed the support from the local community,” says Durdana. “I wanted a better understanding of the factors and issues that affect our lives so I can help other single parents.”

The newsletter aims to accomplish three goals: providing spiritual, emotional and practical support. The monthly newsletter will feature
articles providing practical advice on issues ranging from home buying to choosing a day care. The spiritual support column will attempt to
resolve the huge need for inner strength single parents have when parenting solo.

Nesting Solo?s website and business/social-networking group will supplement the support through the newsletter. The website and networking groups are being inaugurated simultaneously with the initiation of the newsletter.

A free copy of the newsletter can be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Durdana Yousuf. For more information visit www.NestingSolo.com or send an e-mail to
